Attention dudes and dudettes/ladies and gentlemen

As most of you are likely aware by now, there's some sort of virus going around via bot accounts. This shit's spread to comments being made on profiles by said bot accounts.

If your comment section on your profile is set to public and is being spammed with links from the aforementioned bot accounts, I strongly suggest you change the comment settings to 'Friends only' to prevent any more from appearing on your otherwise precious and pretty profiles.

If you have clicked the link, I would advise you guys scan your PC with your AntiVirus software, Followed by a scan using the MalwareBytes trial, And then downloading and running ComboFix which will also delve deep into the registry and remove any further nastiness.

Fellow clan members,

We are all familiar with the values that this clan was created. We started out as a home for the skilled and the honorable players on AvP, and I pride myself to have some of the best and most incredible players in our ranks still. We went from being a small group of people to becoming one of the biggest and known clans in the AvP community. We played and won countless battles, and in the height of being competitive, not too many people could beat us, individually and as a team. We grew past AvP and played many other games as a clan, and some of us continue to do so to this very day. We have come a very long way since we started, and I am so happy to have been a part of this journey with all of you.

The clan has been inactive, everyone has their personal lifes, work/school to attend to, and we all know that not much time is left for our hobbies, including games and playing with our fellow clan members. PoS has left the competitive scene on AvP and our other supported games for quite some time, which is why I beleive it is time to look at our group from a new perspective.

As of now, I am looking at our clan not in a competitive way, but as a social HUB for all of us to post what we want, to schedule games, and to look for partners in co-op games we want to play. If any of you want to play a game online and need a buddy, or buddies to play with, please remember to come to the clan page and ask any of us if they want to play. This is a group of friends, and everyone of you should look at it this way. As of right now, we will be more laid back in our approach to the games we play, and some changes are going to happen.

We will still play our weekly games whenever possible, in fact I feel they will happen more often from now on, but look at the clan as a place to go when you need friends to play with, and to get in touch with people who share the same view on games as you do.

Some changes starting today are as follow:

-No need to wear the clan tag anymore; Since we have departed from being competitive, there is no need to add the clan tag to your name. I removed it from my name too, after 3 amazing years, since there is no need for representation as a clan in the competitive scene anymore. Even those who played casually don't need to wear it, a lot of people joined us by asking our members who they saw playing and were impressed in our way of playing/thinking, but since we are inactive as a group, the tag lost it's relevance.

-We will have scheduled games on weekends on a more regular basis, and anyone is free to schedule events. ANY GAME can be played as a clan game, as long as 2 of us want to play it, feel free to add them on the events tab and get a bunch of people to play with you.

Please remember, PoS is here and we are the exact same group/clan we always were. This is just a new beggining, which I hope will be filled of memorable gaming moments with friends/clan mates.

Fellow members,

Steam was updated yesterday, as I'm sure most of you know, and now features a revamped system to browse the steam store. The curator system was implemented to help other people know about games they might otherwise not know about, and to recommend to other players games we really have fun with.

I started the Predators of Sovereign Curator page, and all of you are free to recommend games to be featured on our list. Please follow our curator page by going to the curator section of the clan page and clicking "follow this curator" so other players will have a higher chance of seeing our recommended games.

A community hosted league will launch this August to mark 15 years of Aliens vs Predator.

The first prize winner will receive a copy of Alien:Isolation, and there will be prizes for the second and third place finishers as well.
