That's right. Dedicated servers? Yes. Any control over them? None what so ever.

Treyarch has recently confirmed that they will not be incorporating rented servers into the game to 'emphasize security'.

There will still be dedicated servers but they will be controlled and configured by Treyarch and Activision themselves. There is no longer a server browser, all gameplay will be done through matchmaking. This of course means that clans will not be able to run custom playlists, train, scrim, and ban hackers. Although they say that they will be working with VAC to 'permanently ban cheaters', it echoes what Infinity Ward has said time and time again but never done.

I mean after all, how much do they really care about PC gamers anyway?
