How to use dat mod?

- if you use tampermonkey/greasemonkey asks you to install (recommended)
- just install the script
- use a window instead of a tab when the game was started
- you have nothing else to do, the script is doing all for you

Hello there,

some of you may have already noticed - it is time for webserver errors again. Since we still got over 200 members left in this group I'm just asking to join team blue (parakeet) if you want to participate in this game. (but you're free to join any other team)

How to play this game you're asking? Well, in short: Just play the games you like. The page lists all the eligible games for you, which could earn you points and tokens. It might be the easiest to play a game which got achievements and is listed, for at least 30 minutes. Additionally there are i.e. specific games like CS:GO which have special achievements to be accomplished.

Some bad news: This event does not grant cards for crafting badges nor spending money. This event almost works the same like the Lunar event earlier this year.

Like for the last sales you can use a script in your browser to automate 1. Voting & 2. Discovery-Queue to get 3 card-drops each day and 6 card-drops on a special day. Don't use this script when the Steam-Servers are throwing a lot of errors or are unavailable. (3-4 hours after new card-drops are available should be okay)

You should replace:

var cards_text_compare = "Sie können heute noch eine weitere Karte erhalten, indem Sie Ihre Entdeckungsliste erkunden.";

with your localized string. Thats the one indicating how much free-drops are left (if the string says there are 2 or no card-drops left, just replace it with the word for one) on your http://steamproxy.net/steamstore/explore/. You can easily finding it out by just pasting

jQuery('.discovery_queue_winter_sale_cards_header .subtext').text();

into your console (while on the mentioned page), hit enter and put the returned string into the brackets, so it will look like

var cards_text_compare = "yourstring";

How to use the script:
1. Navigate to http://steamproxy.net/steamstore/explore/
2. Open Console (F12) (for firefox you maybe need to allow pasting)
3. Copypasta the code and hit enter
4. The page will reload when it is finished and you should see 3 new notifications for items

@Haulien: SDB was updated hours ago, there´s no more need to use wchills only if one wants to use the TV-Skins to fit correctly.

wchill's script should be used until the SteamDB one uses wormholes more efficticely. Also any script that still spams EVERYTHING in the last hour(s) will kill any level we might have otherwise been able to get.

@ekze: We all want use the same script. SteamDB is the best so far and wchills script had a backdoor.
