Thanks so much Radishes and Kobi! This server went farther, and did more to try an break hackers ruining the fun for legitimate players than any other game server I've ever played on. I have not tried running a personal server with Linux so am not able to really know. The only thought I have is to try and google the problem or even post to the 7day forums under tech support.

Kob1, I have a question. Do you know of any way to get past the problem that the linux based server requires glibc_2.15? Besides the obvious answer which is having it. I have access to a server that runs on CentOS 6.9 without an option to change that in the foreseeable future. It's a formidable server, but CentOS 6.9 is only compatible with up to glibc_2.12. SO my hands are tied with being able to start a new server unless somebody with more knowledge/experience than myself can guide me.

Honestly one of the best servers I have ever played for 7 days to die.. had so much fun with the raiding, got to know people and partner up with with them while enjoying the game overall. It is hard to find a place where you can play the game how it was meant to be played.. a sandbox, shape your adventure and do however you want, long as you can do it.

Just wondering how often the Whitelist is checked for the High ping on the server?

I voted for a server wipe 1. because of personal reasons, since I had a bad start on this one and 2. because the server had a slow start, and now that it's pretty full the new players will present a better challenge and a more fair and level playing field. To take pot shots at me and the group that I play with as your excuse to not want a wipe and rally up people to be on your side rather than simply expressing your vote goes to show that you are just bad.

Hello! I'm from another server that died (infortunately) due to the high frequency of hackers visiting the server and destroying everything. As nice as it was for the admins to give out supplies to the affected players, it got old really fast having to rebuild a base every week. This server was recommended by a few other players, and so far im enjoying it!

Also, occassionally my ping jumps due to shitty internet, so may i be whitelisted just so i don't have to be at risk for a ban? Thanks~

Unfortunately, the game server suffers from poor performance. It seems that the game developer has not put a lot of work into server performance. We have limited the server to 25 in order to maintain a high quality for those who are in the server.

We do offer a slot reservation system for donors, and we allow donors to share their personalized slot reservation URL with a friend or two. See the Donations section above for details.

Yeah so I really want to play on your server with my friends, but it's always at maximum capacity(25, even though the server list says 30) you should up the server limit.

If only. The EAC problem is worse than ever since that patch. However, we made a setting change last night which hopefully has eliminated the EAC issues altogether.
