We are aware of the EAC issue. This is something that is from the lastest update that The Fun Pimps (TFP) pushed out. You can find the thread regarding this issue in their bug forum tracker below.

We suggest you try to verify files of the game and restart steam. It may require multiple tries. Some folks have had success while others are still struggling. Please let TFP know you are having the same issue as this is wide spread to a lot of servers and players.
