Uniting the Managers of Steam's largest Communities

The Community Manager Summit (abbr. CMS) was brought to life to give the founders and admins of the largest community groups on Steam a common and neutral platform for discussion, interaction and organisation.

The goal of the Community Manager Summit is to give its members a stronger voice in talks with Valve, the developers and operators of Steam. This makes it easier to pass on reports and wishes regarding features, bugs and other issues within the community to the right people at Valve.

Anyone who manages a community group with at least 50,000 members and which strives for a real sense of community has the chance to apply for membership to the Community Manager Summit. These conditions are in place to ensure that only groups that truly have their community at heart can join. Should the application be accepted, three representatives will be invited to the Community Manager Summit: the founder of the group as well as two additional team members.
