Hey guys!

A little while ago, I made an announcement about a new RP I'm working on (if you don't know what I'm talking about, refer to the previous announcement). With this new RP, I've decided to use a fun little game called Gratuitous Space Battles to simulate actual combat between opposing fleets. Members of the RP will have the option to fully determine what kind of ships they have, what their fleets specialize in, what kind of weapons they're mounted with, etc. I plan on making the combat as accesible and in-depth as possible, and it would certainly add some variety to be able to watch a battle play out live as opposed to rolling dice and looking at numbers to decide how the battle went.

I haven't been very active in the RP community in sometime. Some of you may remember me from my glory days in Jean Valjean's RP where I ruled as the Dictator of Chile. Anyways, I'm working on a new RP and I'm wanting to get some feedback on what you guys think.
The RP would center around commanding a galactic society in an unexplored galaxy. Players would have complete freedom to decide what their society is like (government, ethics, culture, etc.), and the goal of the rp is to expand your faction into a glorious, trans-galactic empire. Factions explore systems to colonize, research, and collect resources. Players can form alliances, or engage in epic space wars. A number of NPC factions would run with their own mandates and goals, giving life to the galaxy and allowing players a number of diplomatic and military opportunities.
In addition to standard turn-based empire building and player-driven gameplay, the galaxy would be designed to be rich, full of life, and fascinating to discover. A number of random events could happen at any time! An ancient extraterrestrial collective could invade from a galaxy eons away; scientific advancement could lead to the creation of planet-cracking superweapons; robot zombie pirates could attack at any moment!
What would you guys think about this RP? I have a number of other gameplay plans/features that I don't want to cram all of into this post, but feel free to comment with questions, ideas, and feedback as to what you think. Would you guys join this RP? What would you want to see? How can the idea be expanded on?

Ever wanted to be a viking?, Imperial Knight of the holy roman empire? or a samurai? Well in this rp join one of many houses based on real warrior cultures in a sorta low fantasy setting and battle against strange beast or explose death trap like ruins to find all sorts of loot.
