Welcome to Velocity.

Introduction

Hello and welcome to Velocity, we created this community so you can connect with other people over discord so you don't have to play alone anymore and maybe even make some new friends.

Events

We often host events for some games, when we're planning to host an event the event hoster will announce them in the discord group that you can join from our steam page. To join these events you only have to fill in a small form which you can find in the announcement, after filling in the form the event hoster will contact you as soon as possible depending on what kind of event it is.

Trading

To start trading, head to the discussions and post a trade there. Search wanted items using the search bar in top right of the forums section. You can also use the #trading channel in the discord group to trade and the #price-checks channel to check the prices of items.

Discord

You can find most of the members in the discord group you can join via our steam page.
You can easily search for people to play with in the discord group.
If you have a group of friends and want your personal channels you can contact one of the staff and we will get back to you as soon as possible and make you and your friends your own personal discord channels.

YouTube

We have a YouTube channel where we upload montages and other content. If you have some great clips you want to have edited and uploaded to YouTube can fill in this form [docs.google.com], we might put your clips on YouTube in a community montage and put a link to your channel in the description.

After some unfortunate events the original VE server got deleted, everyone who wants to join back in can do so in our new updated version.

€10 Steam Gift Card Invitation Race

What it is

The point of the race is to get as much people in this community as possible.
Each time someone joins the community from your invite link you earn 1 point.
You can earn an extra point if the invited person gets to level 5, and 2 more points if they get to level 10.
The person with the most points at the end of the event wins a €10 steam gift card.
This event begins on the 9th of july 2018 at 0:00 CEST and ends 3 weeks later on the 29th of july at 23:59 CEST.
The winner will be announced somewhere on the 30th of july.
If this event succeeds we will host these kind of events more often, in a giveaway or raffle form.

How to enter

You can enter this event by joining the discord group via our steam page.
Once you're in the discord server click on the name of the community in the upper left corner, then click on Invite People, then on Edit invite link., set the expirement date on never and max number of uses on No limit, if you've set those setting click on Generate New Link and use that link to invite more people into the community.
