to crash the market of keys donw youd need about 1000-2000 keys and everyone sells them on the market 3-4 cents cheaper than whatever the lowest price is, once you hit the point you want just keep selling them there

Keys are sold thru real money, thats affects metal value for them too. Real money is fluctuated thru the economy, econmy is terrible: so it affects key's value. Only wayu you can save keys is by saving economy, so its useless to try.

We are going to craft hats which will make metal more rare, thus have a higher value, therefore decreasing the keys' price.

An item isn't going to have a lower price just because some folks are undercutting the competition. That's not how legitemate economies work.

I don't see much interest in all this. I barely see anyone in the chat room to plan the trade raiding. If we want this to work, we must put our hearts to it. So how about tomorrow we start raiding a key trade chosen by either Archie or CVDash (sadly, greedy admins banned me for price manipulation.)

You kids really need to learn the definition of supply and demand before going into economics.

There's no practical use for metal; no one wants it. 2 craft hats cost less than usage of 3 refined metal to craft a hat, thereby, metal just being circulated over and over, but never decrease in quantity. It's up to Valve to stop the inflation by doing something with metal. But knowing Valve, they don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about the community anymore.

Hey. You know why the key price is 6 ref? Because the price of metal is very low. There are a LOT of refined on the market. And the players craft a lot more. To decrease the key's price, we need to buy as many refined as we can, and use them for hat crafting.

I would't even sell it for refined, I want some to buy a game

If you will ever buy a key from this group, you wouldn't be allowed to sell it outside, since in this group we sell and buy keys for 2.33 and soon we will take it outside to the world to try and restore their prices.

I'm aware of that. I think this will be easily achievable in ~4-5 days since the member count in this group is rocketing.

We need more people. The problem is that even if we raid tf2outpost claiming keys have dropped to 2.33, there will still be people who buy for 3 ref because they are easily prepared to pay that much. Honestly, I think its a good idea to lower the price but it'd be difficult. We need at least 300 people to spam the buying key outpost efficiently.

As much as I like the idea of restoring the Keys back to the old price - this will never ever work. It's basic economics. Demand is high and supply is low. Anyone selling at 2.33 or so will immediately sell out. The reason the Keys are at the current price are due to the balancing of the market. This is a natural system that can't be changed artificially. ;(

It's people that try to make "profit". If we want this campaign to work, we must make sure nobody sells them for more than 2.33.

The price for keys keeps rising. Reminds me of Germany during the great depression, hundreds of dollars for a loaf of bread.
