FYI, if you ask an admin a question that can be answered by reading our discussion group pinned topics, they will probably not answer your questions and just refer you to the forums.

We get the same questions about 20-40 times a day that could have been avoided if people were to read the pinned topics. This also give you an opportunity to provide feedback.

We have been told the upgrade will be late Sunday evening or early Monday morning.
Expect about 2 hours of downtime after the upgrade for testing.

Also, be ware that a wipe is going to be requried very soon.

Hardware upgrade should be this weekend (Sep 3/4).
Will update here when we have an exact time scheduled.

Great server overall what i've seen so far. Now that 3.3.1 hotfix has hit us, when can we expect the server to be updated ?

3.3.1 Hotfix was downloaded for me at 7:39 AM EST. Just letting you guys know. They say the server do need to be updated as well.

We are working on changes to allow that to happen.
In the meantime please read the post on that and why it is very difficult given the state of the server code from Eleon.

up players limit please!!!!!!!

Since the coment scrolled off this page, I will repost, my gaming laptop was stolen and my new laptop has not arrived yet (I travel a lot and need a laptop for gaming). As such my time in the game will be very limited until the new machine arrives (I am on a tiny macbook air in the mean time)

and not to beat a dead horse, but while i anecdotally found the admin support lacking, the server is top notch in regards to performance. while there still made be alpha-related-or-not technical errors, i've played on mostly all top servers and have found that this one, even under heavy load, is very responsive (no latency) and has little error (outside of my own experiences).

gorganov got in touch with you. i was pretty pissed this morning and my comment was uncalled for.

nothing i claimed was a false claim. no admin was online, i was on for a very long extended period (i work from home) and was looking for an admin. i privately message Corricon (the only name i was given other than "Vex", of which Gorganov messaged you) and got no reply, even pleading "PLEASE contact me when you get this". Further, i submitted in the "lost ship" section where i was told my ship was not found.

all that aside, your response was sufficient and i will contact you to recover the lost items.

this is the first time ive heard of a situation r3d. Youve not come to me once, ive been online plenty, neo is away due to buisness concerns, right now theres only 2 of us to deal with the server for a 24 hour time spree and im also a working fulltime student. Instead of leaving a bad report on the server, try contacting me so we can get the issue resolved. A large portion of what your claiming is false and we do not appreciate false claims. We use our descretion and try to replace what we can, the bugs are related to hardware cap and are getting upgraded, your gonna have to understand were not machines and with there only being a couple of us at the moment its very hard to get to everyone, especially when theres 80 players on at most times of the day.

1. We are aware of the performance problems now that we are peaking at 80 users. We have a plan for improvment that Vexray will detail in a post. This plan includes more ram from our host, which I will be looking into tomorrow.

2. My Alienware laptop was stolen and I cannot get in game atm. I wont be on until the replacement arrives which will probably be 2-3 days. I do have steam chat however on my little macbook air.

3. The new planets are not the cause of the performance problems. We have had these propblems since we raised the cap to 80. More on that soon.

Fantastic server with the main admin being active, and helping out people as much as they can, people actually use the marketplace, there's PVP to find, plenty of worlds to explore and hang out on... And every Rule that's on this page is very justified, through performance or other reasons, it's just a very good place to be. Bugs are abound sure, but they get resolved as quick as they can, early access Alpha games tend to do that. :/

ty for not giveing me warning and deleting everything wich include thwousands of ore ammo guns and all my other ships that where docked in it u took me from having a good well defended ship to 0 this gun limit is the stupid thing i have ever hears u support people building small gun boats that have no look or creativity my ship was a class 4 with no guns in wired places i lacked turing speed and since it was so big 50 guns would have never help me stay alive to theses small gun boats. if u want a good gun rule u should make it per class class 1 canhave said guns class 2 so forth thats a good gun limit that way u can have more creative builds. when u have ships that are nothing but guns that is a problem so u know i did have 97 guns but i have 4 sides on my ship with hard medatl blocks that ship that attacked me a few days ago blow 5 holes into my ship before my ship shot him our of his seat and then me and waldo bot where shotting at his ship and i did not die fore a while.

You were not attacked in NPC farm space by a player.

Maybe somone was manually shooting at you, but that does no damage in an NPC zone.
Maybe the damage you claim was already there?
Maybe you dipped into the PVP zone of the planet and they blasted you.
In any event, no action will be taken.

Also, there is no way for an admin to attack someone in PVE space even if we wanted to be abusive.

ok so i was attacked in NPC FARM SPACE!!!!! cleary it is pve neo was telling me something about i was not in space or something like that crap anyway his clan mates IAM which he was defend to no end like they where not really here it was drones and a drone base ran up on me as i was crafting in pve space but then i was attackd by IAM and had damage done to me in pve no as i told him i dont want anything from him in game all i want is him to tell them not to attack popel in pve space but no im wrong and that was total not admin abuse becasue how could u be attackd in pve lalalala well im still rapiring right now fixing the hole the ♥♥♥♥ into my ship, ohh lol and after they relized hey there some in there they stopd chased me a little but until my freind shwoed up so ban me if u want or ill just end up leaving dont think people want to play in a server where the admin and all there freinds kill ur ♥♥♥♥♥♥ in pve areas lol

Wizzy, we handle them on a case by case basis.
It's Alpha, we are in testing mode, and we have set the limit to class 5 currently until we see a problem that forces us to lower to class 4.

I need a character reset if possible my profile seems to be glitched.

Hi after looking at the rules i can not see any limit of size of CVs and i been on couple servers people spawning 100k block counts and lags server out ....have you blocked these type builds here ?

New Server is UP!!!
Filter the list with "RennTech" and you should see it.
The old server will stay up until tomorrow.

Server is ordered and under construction now.
Hardware is faster, and the bandwidth is much better.
We are planning to make this a wipe unless I hear multiple objections.
This will allow for a new clean build.
