Apparently there's a pishing rampage in this area today, in which someone downloads a .scr and opens it. This isn't a new tactic at all, but there are some who aren't aware about this.

For those who don't know... .scr files are NOT screenshots. They're bits of spyware disguised with that extension. If opened, it will download into your computer, and your usernames/passwords will be at risk.

Don't blindly open stuff that your friends show to you just cause they're your friends!

I think some need a 101 lesson about account security; if you get hijacked, you can contact Steam Support. BUT REMEMBER; they only restore the items they took ONCE. Not twice, not more, just ONCE. And not only that, but all your items will be duplicated, so any Unusuals will face harsh drops in value (even though that shouldn't matter)

The phishers take your stuff in seconds, so when you regain your account it's already too late!

In short, be careful and don't act blindly, that's how you lose your account. When in doubt, always ask your friends!

Ps: If you downloaded it, you have about 30 secs or 40 to get rid of it!!
The .scr will be there for some time like 30 secs or so. But if you dowload it, and you later, and can't find, Like it disappeared! Then You are fucked!
