For those that don't know, you can create a direct connect shortcut on your desktop to immediately connect to the server, avoiding that slow ass Server Browser.

This can be done by rightclicking on your desktop and creating a new shortcut. In the wizard that pops up, enter "steam://connect/dirron.duckdns.org:27016" as the target/shortcut URL, then finish the process. Launching this shortcut will poll the server, launch the game, and connect you automagically.

With no announcement, the workshop seems to be working again. There shouldn't be any issues downloading or syncing mod files, world is back up where it was.

So, according to the SpaceEngineers Discussions forum, the recent issues with downloading mods from the server have to do with recent Workshop maintainence.

Until the issues are resolved, I'm spinning up a vanilla creative world, same address. I'll post an announcement/event as soon as ♥♥♥♥'s back to normal.
