Welcome to the official page of the 7th Fleet Defence Force. We're an European timezone based TACSIM (= Tactical simulation) group which focusses on amphibious warfare, realistic teamplay and camaraderie.

What makes us different from all those other clans/units/groups and PMCs? The big difference between them and us is the fact we play for fun while we engage the tactical part of the game. We're not shouting at you nor we let 16 year olds wander around with 'Lieutenant bars' or 'Sergeant stripes'. We actualy don't obey a ranking structure. This means anyone can play at any position we offer at our operations/combat missions. Everyone can play what they want, example: our staff might play as a grenadier, (co-)pilot or tank driver.

You said something about no ranks?There are certain member ranks, if you come in new you start as a Prospect, but after playing one or two missions and attending some trainings you become a full member (Patchmember). After that there are someother ranks as listed below: (Top = highest, bottom = lowest)

*Life-time membership is earnt trough respect and dedication to our group. They're welcome whenever they want and they are treated with respect.
** Hangarounds are certain persons who are too young or not active enough to join us, they're sponsered by one of our members. Mostly Family.
*** Friends are players who are inanother group but earned this title trough good standing relations with our group.

When do you play and what are your combat operations?We play mostly around 2000 - 0100 gmt+1. We try to create our own mods and missions, which will be available to download before the operations starts. Our operations will cover a wide variaty of real combat situations which will trigger you to peform even better.

Are there any training activities?Yes, when you are selected to join us we offer different trainings given by our instructors. They will cover a lot of situation based scenes and real-life tactics which we use in our operations. Also it is possible to become an instructor yourself, which allows you to build your own training schemes.

I like the idea, how to join? Right now as of 08JUL2014 we are starting up, but if you are willing to contribute in anyway contact Dutch Thunder, we try to start with the first operations in less then 60 days. Before that we would like to have some trainings first.
