Photo and Camera Modes

Photo modes in games are getting more recognised, if you ever want to dive into the digital imagery then this group is for you.

For the time being, there are 3 categories for the games that have these modes;

The first one is naturally "Photo mode" which is designed as a virtual camera where you can freely rotate camera, change fov, set DoF, aperture, apply color filter, adjust contrast, brightness, all the good stuff.

The second one is "Camera mode", which is somewhat limited, mostly game camera or for taking photos/selfies with a virtual phone in game.

And the last one is "Ansel" that is only available for who owns an Nvidia graphic card. This mode also needs to be categorised by its own because sometimes it allows using free cam, and sometimes not (just for applying filters etc.)

It is worth mentioning that some games (mostly multiplayer games) have replay modes, spectator modes and editors to watch your previous matches. Some of them can include accessing free cam and other tools to create a screenshot. I will try to mention them in reviews.

Here's a rundown what you'll see in the curator reviews:

PHOTO MODE - Most varied easy to access photography tools.
CAMERA MODE - Only allows taking point of view or selfie shots.
ANSEL - Nvidia's exclusive photo mode tool
EDITOR - Games that use replay, spectator or editor tools to give you some space to take screenshots
INFO - Worth mentioning games that requires a little work with mods, workshop support etc.
