@afdax) It's unlikely Overkill will do that. As there are many factors that would prevent them from doing. For now we'll stick with this.

After doing that, whenever I try to launch the game, it just says it failed to update due to a disk write error, and I can't launch the game.

@Linepiece777 Refer to the section of the thread that tells how to prevent the game from updating, and you will be fine.

If I'm on Update 78, and only started the download for 79+(600+MB DL'ed), is there any way I can run this without updating to 79/downloading that 12GB file? Thanks in advance.

We have the lua hook on this version, we can do anything we need.

I might look into modifying the game so we can get crimenet matchmaking working on a custom server. Knowing how terrible OVK are at programming it probably won't be that hard ;P

first :P I miss 1 my hud 2 my mods that changed textures of weapons 3 the game felling it was not trying to get you to pay at every turn ... so this group sounds like its lots of fun.
