Howdy Survivors!

The Fun Pimps indicated they plan on releasing A17 Experimental at 3:30pm Central Time. That is 10:30am NZ Time, 7:30am Brisbane, 8:30am Sydney.

Once it's released, it'll become available as an "opt in" branch that you need to go and enable specifically.

• Right click "7 Days to Die" in your Steam Library and click on "Properties" at the bottom of the list.
  
• On the new window, click the "Betas" tab at the top.
  
• Under "Select the beta you would like to opt into", drop down the menu and you'll see "latest_experimental - Unstable build".
  
• Once you've have select it, click on "Close" bottom right and wait for it to download.

We aim to have the server up and running as soon as possible.

• Only 1 land claim block can be active at a time (yes, we know, we're fighting to have this changed). If you place a new land claim, the old one will remain but become inactive and will offer no protection.
  
• The land claim size has been increased to a 100 block radius to compensate.
  
• The server may get get full. Keep on trying!
  
• Since it's experimental, there WILL be bugs, lag and possibly crashes. If you can't handle this, best to stay on A16 until a more stable release is out.
  
• The A16 map, including all player stats, zennies etc will be wiped. The A17 Experimental map is also temporary and will be wiped when A17 is officially released.
  
• Loot respawn will be set to 3 days, instead of 30 because the map will be much smaller in Experimental.
  
• All vehicles will be allowed, until it becomes a problem.
