Welcome to New Zealand Forces Gaming

New Zealand Forces is a small gaming community of mature Australian and New Zealand based players who mostly play Arma 3 but do enjoy a wide variety of games. We are a PvE oriented group.

We value immersion and team work where each of us contribute to reach our goals for the session. We're happy to help you try out new roles on the training server and not limit yourself to a single one. NZF can host a wide array of missions in diverse settings, we do not restrict our players to a specific theme or type of mission.


Schedule in New Zealand Time (NZT)

- Monday 19:45 NZT - open group training
- Wednesday 19:45 NZT - Persistent mission
- Friday 19:45 NZT - Persistent mission
- Saturday 19:45 NZT - Zeus or persistent mission

We encourage people to be in game early so we are all ready for action at 20:00 NZT.


Unit features

- A dedicated training server where you can train and develop new skills as a medic, a pilot, a JTAC etc
- An op server hosting a persistent campaign at all time (Liberation, Antistasi etc)
- Zeus missions (one offs or campaign)
- A wide array of missions from WWII to Modern warfare with a stop in Vietnam, allowing you to crawl in snow, dirt or sand
- Possibility to access different roles (support, transport, leadership etc)
- Possibility to become a Zeus and run your own missions
- Joint OP with other groups (the more the merrier)


Requirements

- Age requirement: 18+ years old
- Location requirement: be based in Australia or New Zealand (to guarantee a decent ping to the server and timezone alignment)
- Language requirement: be able to understand and speak English
- Attendance: As a recruit, if you are inactive for 30 days, your role will be removed and you will have to re-apply. There is no limit to how many times you can apply
- Have Teamspeak 3 and a microphone / speakers or headset in working conditions
- Willing to download a "heavy" modlist required to play on our servers (currently our base modlist counts 83 mods, see NZF Mods Collection)
- Follow the rules
- TK is heavily punished


Application

We have a recruitment process in place to make sure that your gameplay and character align with ours. Following a first phase with one of our community managers, you will be cleared to participate in our operations. We may limit you while being a recruit but once you become a member, all roles are accessible.

Note that some roles require training and clearance, such as pilot and medic since they can disrupt the game experience of the whole group. More information about the whole process can be found on NZF Discord[nzfgaming.com].
