This group is for regualr survivors of Noble Savages, an unofficial Ark server. We are an 18+ server.

Philosophy
---
We'd like to attract high numbers of like-minded individuals over time -- but we're in no rush. We want to meet fellow survivors who are interested in exploring all facets of the game, with hopes of building an epic server filled with tribes, alliances, politics, trade, war, and adventure.

It is our hope that Noble Savages grows into an incredibly fun social experiment. This may mean imposing certain game balancing mechanisms to keep the ebb and flow of power moving between tribes. We don't know what the future of Noble Savages will look like -- but we're hopeful.

PVE (and balanced PVP)
---
Noble Savages is primarily a PVE server, but also encourage raids, skirmishes, and full-scale battles -- with certain caveats. Many of us are working adults, so we ask that battles be scheduled at least within certain windows of availability. A tribe may not know specifically when another tribe will attack, but it should at least be during predictable hours of availability.

New Tribe Governance Settings

I've changed the Tribe Governance settings to:

Dino Ownership
---
Personally Owned, Tribe Ridden

This is where the Dinosaurs are owned by the person who brings them to the tribe. However they can still be ridden and used by other tribe members (inventory access, AI commands). If you were to leave the tribe, the Dinosaur will also leave with you (and eject that creepy stranger who’s riding it!).

Dino Taming
---
Personal Taming

This means from here on out whilst in the tribe, anything that you tame will belong to you (and thus follow the Dino Ownership rules above) and if you are to leave the tribe, it leaves with you. Taming rights in this case are determined by who knocked the Dino out (if knocked out by a player) or put the first piece of food into its inventory. You can tell who’s gonna own the Tamed dino in this case by looking at the Taming HUD.

Structure Ownership

Personally Owned, Tribe Snap, Admin Demolish

This mean that anything you place is owned by you, if you are to leave the tribe, the structures still belong to you. Tribe snap allows other people to help you with your buildings by placing objects, as well as allowing them to build nearby. Admin Demolish means that only you or admins can demolish what you own.

Locks & Pincodes

This option applies to Gates, Doors and Storage chests. This means that if something is locked or has a pincode, only you can immediately by-pass this. Other members of the tribe, or non-tribe members will have to know the pin-code to open the gates, doors or the storage chests.

Summary
---
People joining the tribe shouldn't have to give up all their personal access to things. Thus we will need to give thought to what things we share and how, as a tribe.

Removed Admin Cheat Construction

I deleted all the construction work from the admin cheats -- as I felt it was lessening my enjoyment of the game. There's a sense of fulfilment that comes from working for what you get.

The exception to this is pteradons. Everyone in our tribe is entitled to a replacment pteradon.

Because I love them.
