The server has a new IP since mid-April: 92.222.77.216:27012

It's still hosted at OVH (North of France) but it's now a VPS (instead of a dedi) and thankfully using a different routing inside OVH's network (see the Issues discussion for more info about this).

During the first years of the server, some of you proposed to send a little donation to me, but I always answered that it was OK, that I could afford it, because it was a cheap 'game server' rented at a GSP (something like 15 Euro/month).

Now it's a dedicated 'root' server, that I installed myself on a Linux box rented at OVH and its cost is a bit more than the double of the previous game server's.

That's why I am now accepting donations to help me fund Multiskillz, to make sure that this special skillz server will stay online for a long time again, thanks to your help.

You can read more about this by saying /donate on the server, or simply contact me (even in offline-chat) for details or if you want to talk about it.

Do I need to mention that if your support is great, it will re-boost my motivation to add even more new features, like several lines in my TODO list waiting to see "Done!" written next to them? :p

Yes, after almost 2 months of preparation (you saw the new server online, cycling all maps for testing) and another delay caused by RL stuff, Multiskillz is now back online, hopefully for the best!

We're now back to the great and stable OVH network (bye-bye the damn annoying lags at peak time from the previous host/routing...) and I have a great trust in this company (in fact we already used their network last year, as a 3rd-party host, as some of you will probably remember).

Really, everything should be fine now, and smooth flying conditions await you :D

Yes, new IP again, because we didn't really want the previous migration (3 weeks ago), so I've finally tested GameServers' Switch Location feature, and, hats off to them: it works fine.

New IP is 173.199.109.80:27015 212.187.246.22:27015

With this move, Multiskillz is back to UK, which could be fine (as it was, from Nov'11 to March'13, via another GSP), but should any oddity happen, we could always switch loc again, to NL/Amsterdam (the original idea).

We'll see, during the coming weeks...

EDIT 23-Feb: and this is now done: the serv is now hosted in Amsterdam (for the better...?)
