Hey guys! Hope everyone is getting ready and prepared for our match against Valor! Remember that our opponents have been practicing just as much as we have, so we can't let our guards down! I know how well everyone can play at their bests, so let's keep trying to sharpen and warm up our skills until competiton day. Above anything else, this is not going to be an easy win. I've noticed some people getting a bit cocky, and we can't let that kind of mindset let us lose the tournament. Unfortunately, we have had some roster changes. Remember none of this is final:

In addition to roster changes, we have also been considering the maps we're going to play in the tournament. Some maps I think our team excels at are Mirage, Overpass, and Cache. Some maps we don't play particularly well are Dust II, Cobblestone, and Nuke. For the tournament, each team is allowed to pick 1 map out of the pool and eliminate one so the other team cannot choose it. Matt and I discussed this with some other group members, and we will likely eliminate Dust II from the map pool, as it is the map that Valor practices on, as well as a map some people (especially close-range players) do not excell on. For our chosen map, we haven't made much of a decision yet. Some players want to play on Cache or Mirage, both of which most of our team's players play extremely well on. Another idea is to throw VCHS for a loop and choose an obscure map, such as Overpass or Militia, whick they are likely not prepared for. All that said, we're keeping our options open to adapt to whatever VCHS chooses for their maps.

On October 15, there will be a friendly competitive tournament between VCHS eSports team and MVHS eSports team. We will be having the get-together at Matt's house (check the Discord for more information; TEXT CHANNEL: lanparty). The maps are to be determined. However, we are currnetly considering letting each team choose a map, and if there is a need for a third and final map, it will most likely be chosen via coin filp. Although official rosters for the tournament are not availabe at this time, the team will most likely consist of the following players.
