According to sources, the team plans to “dominate the South African scene” before moving permanently to North America when possible

MM-ULTRA unveiled it's new CS:GO roster today, officially moving back into a full South African lineup. The previous lineup was together for a brief stint starting in February, but the team split after failing to make it past their region’s closed qualifier for the Rio Major.

Following Tyson ‘Kimandero’ Ngo’s departure, the team sought out a fifth but found two talents instead.

The South African scene is relatively untapped in its potential talent, and MM-ULTRA has proven to be the frontrunner when it comes to scouting that talent. perpetual’s current roster was acquired from MM-ULTRA and has two players and a coach from the region.

The two players rounding out the MM-ULTRA roster are Theodosiou "Sado" Johnny and Kemery "Sad" Ricky. Both are internationally unknown talents that were last spotted playing together on Big 5’s ESEA roster, but MM-ULTRA looks to build off of that success and find even more hidden diamonds in the scene. The lineup is currently participating in every regional event they can fit into, including ESEA South Africa.

According to sources, the team plans to “dominate the South African scene” before moving permanently to North America when possible. A move to North America would certainly benefit the lineup and organization, but domestic performances and the ongoing pandemic situation will certainly play a role.
