People of Milan


It has come to my attention that we must stretch out her arms to all corners of the world through trade, teaching, and learning. However, rebellious and malacious bands of pirates have been sabotaging our great nation's efforts in trade. Thus far, we have found out that these pirates had been attacking our shipping lanes through the immediate island south of the Grand Duchy: Corisca. After failed negotiations with the heathens, I Grand Duke, Luchino I Visconti, have ordered the full invasion of Corisca in response to this threat.

Invading Corisca will also open up new trade possibilities throughout Europe. Corisca is a strategic base for the Milanese Navy. Using Corisca as a base of operations will allow our ships to sail farther and in quicker time. I hope the invasion will not take long, considering it is only a band of pirates.

People of Milan,



Today is a day of great glory. The Grand Duke's first son, Roberto di Tella, has come of age. Today, brass horns sounded the streets as the two rode down the streets gallantly. Milanese citizens threw peddles and roses as the Grand Duke, his son, and the Familiga Ducale rode to the Palace.


When they arrived, Roberto was Knighted by the Archbishop. Luchino shed a tear after seeing his son Knighted. This is a fine day for Milan and her people!
