The teamspeak is back online. I'm sorry for the downtime. Nobody notified me that the server was down.

The server is back online, but I had to do a roll back so I will be updating things as I go along. I will be reinstating ranks, just let me know if you need something changed or if something isn't working right.

Unfortunately, there is a new IP to remember. Just save it as a bookmark so you don't have to type it up each time.

NEW IP: mad-gaming.typefrag.com:9255

I decided that the name Caliburn wasn't as good as it sounded in my head. I changed everything (regarding to the name of the TS only).

The IP changed, but some people are apparently having no problems connecting while others are.

The new TS is madgaming.typefrag.com:5565

Check your bookmarks or connection info. IF it has any of the IP addresses listed below, then you're trying to connect to the wrong server:

mesolite.typefrag.com:5565
caliburn.typefrag.com:5565
ralicorp.teamspeakserverhost.com

Those are NOT going to work for you. Those shouldn't exist anymore so for good measure, just change your connection info and/or bookmarks to:

madgaming.typefrag.com:5565

This is the new TS. I had to deal with the original TS provider's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. They gave me a bogus hostname and told me that if I wanted to change it, I had to pay extra money when I could easily just pay a little more for a service that has that and everything else. Not to mention that they had poor customer service. Typefrag has better 1 on 1 customer service so I'm going back with them.

I'm sorry for the downtime we had yesterday, and the connection issues. This should work fine for everyone.

You can bother them with anything. If they can't help you or you can't seem to do anything because of permissions errors; it's probably because I haven't finished customizing them yet.

Unfortunately, this past month has been quite a tumble for us all. We have been mostly inactive, busy, or otherwise preoccupied with other things. In that time a few things have happened involving the Teamspeak server(s) we had set up.

RALICORP TS

The server we all defected to when SF2 dissolved into goop over at DigiRev.
It has been up for a while, but due to financial reasons; Ralizines will no longer be able to keep the server online for our pleasure. That sucks, yes, but it is not the end of days.

MAD-GAMING TS

The server that I created to allow myself and others full control over certain permissions and setups that we wanted but could not have on the RALI TS. Well, I ran into some issues with the server providers and we had a bit of a complicated resolution that didn't leave my bank account in the negatives.



There is a bright side to all of this, I assure you. We DO have to start over, but I will be working on this with D3feated, Kevin Hitman, EMT, and Frosty. We will be doing our best to bring everything back up to speed.

I will be buying a bigger, and better TS server to hold all of us. Maybe around 50-70 slots to allow for expansion in the future. Rali's TS will be our home until next Thursday (November 13th, 2014). The next day I will purchase the new server when I get home from work (November 14th, 2014).

Until then, use this server group to coordinate with each other. It sucks for now, but once we get the server up and running, we will spread the word and let everyone know that we have a place to shoot the ♥♥♥♥ and suck at video games. Talking to you, EMT.
