Hey guys! I finally got together a team of very talented people to do this, but we are going to transform MelonWars into a MMO RTS game! Im very excited to get going with this project. Hopefully we get a big community, like Gmod Tower once did, and have big servers running massive battles of around 32 players in a very big world.

We still have to set up servers, but we are getting there. Cheers, and see you on the other side!

Hey, i just uploaded a little update that improoves performance and adds a new Energy generating building!

I have decided to make the mod open source. If anyone wants to program their own units, buildings, functions or optimize the mod, you can get the code at github (https://github.com/marianolarre/Gmod-MelonWars-RTS) and make your own branch. If the changes fit my vision of the mod, i will upload them to the official workshop page.

People, i'm making a change in my priorities and i will probably dedicate more time to stand alone projects from now on, which will severly slow down this mod's progress. As a solution, i might consider making this addon open source so anyone can code units and buildings, help me tiddy up my horrible coding, and make the addon progress faster. I would still like to control the direction of the mod and try to maintain the vision i have for it, but maybe with some help, this game could become larger, faster. What do you think?

I can't add a fully fleshed singleplayer mode if the game itself is not even near fully fleshed. With a heavy heart for all those people who don't have friends to play with, i hereby announce that im halting the developement of the singleplayer features in order to keep working on the addon's core. Working on the singleplayer took way too much of my time, which i could have use to actually make progress with the mod. I want to polish the contraptions, make electricity a thing, add more buildings, more units and fix a lot of bugs. I hope you understand. I have deviated from my vision of the addon, and if i don't enjoy working on it, i don't think i can make it enjoyable. I'll go back to making the things i consider will be the best for everyone.
