"Is it free?" - Yes if you have Windows 7 and 8. Or pirate it later, microsoft doesn't care.

"How to install?" - Via Windows Update - or download it directly: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

"Will it overwrite my files?" - No, it will just install over Windows 7 and 8 OS itself. All your files will be intact and right were you left them.

"Do I have to do a back up?" - Nope. Passwords and bookmarks are all saved in your browser for example, and they are still there. So if you die, people will still see what you were looking at every night.

"How long will it take to install?" - Takes about 1-2 hours to download and install, then computer reboots and you're back to what you were doing before. (I went to sleep around 4 AM...)

"Will I still be able to play VNs?" - Yes Berc. Yes.

"What about my language packs?" - 忘れてはいけません。あなたは永遠にここにいます。

"Impressions?" - Shit's too blue for me.

"Anything else?" - Microsoft will ask you if you want to share information, typing and browsing history, etc.

Welp... Update:

Found some games don't exactly work with Windows 10 yet - mostly because the games themselves just have bad combination with 10.
The UI also took a bit of getting used to, but Windows 8.1 people would have no problem with it.

As stated previously, you can restore your OS back to your old one.
It takes about 5-10 minutes, and you're back to what you were using before.
(Install takes over an hour, but restore only takes 5 minutes? Well whatever.)

tl;dr - people are paranoid, but it was okay until I found (some) shit stopped working so I went back to 7.
