Today Valve has released Alien Swarm as a full source after 6 years of its original release in 2004. Since then the people who developed the game were hired by Valve two years ago and have been helping with the Left 4 Dead series and right now Portal 2. They found enough spare time to develop Alien Swarm to full source.

Alien Swarm is a top-down four-player shooter, similar to arcade games of old. Players one of eight unique characters with four different classes, and battle their way through hordes of aliens using more than 40 different types of weapons and equi9pment. Players will gain levels as they play, unlocking persistent items along the way.

In honor of the game's release Alien Swarm is now an official game of our group. Member please go to the steam store and download the game.
