Kabal has a Valheim server! We've been carving our path through the Viking wilderness searching for Odin's favor and wanted to make sure that any guildies who were interested were aware of it's existence!

We just recently passed day 365 on our server so come and check it out!

If you'd like info on how to join our server just contact one of our officers on steam or in our slack chat to get the log-in info!

Basic Rules, because we're a bunch of care bears :X
- No attacking other players without permission
- Please don't invite anyone from outside the guild to the server
- Do not take anything from someone's house unless there is a sign that says you can (also do not change any signs that have house rules on them)
- Keep in mind that if you have a favorite tree or something around your house, there is a chance someone will chop it down by accident. To avoid this, try to include trees you would like to keep inside a fenced in area around your home

So this year. It’s been a year, eh? I mean between the riots and the plague and the alien invasion we’ve all been kind of busy. Why after the Fire Nation invaded, I had to learn air bending to keep my wifi up and running. And then the wild hogs broke down the great southern border wall and obliterated any chance for us to ever have truffles again, but really… were we ever going to have them in the first place?

I remember walking home when the Chuds rose from the sewers and fought the genetically engineered flying monkeys that totally didn’t come from China (but did) that I had this strange feeling that I was missing something. Something important that brought our community together once a year to celebrate an anniversary, an anniversary of survival!

Kicking the clicker that blocked the stairs to my office, I leaped over the extra dimensional rift that randomly appears in front of my doorway since the Large Hadron Collider decided to punch a hole into the warp and unleash the Chaos Gods upon the firmament. I tossed the giant clock spider that had made home in my chair out the window, turned on my computer and went to work on the next great disaster to strike the world…

That’s right folks! It’s that time of the year again and we’re going to crack open the seventh seal on this bad boy because if we’re gonna go, we’re going in style! Look to the hills as the Officers of the Apocalypse bring forth all kinds of terrors upon the land on August 22nd!

Dota Underlords returns for another year as we all do battle against each other in a game of autochess that doesn’t have much to do at all with actual chess! But that little ferret guy is adorable!

It's been a while since we updated the steam group, but I wanted to post something up here just to keep things some what up to date-.ish?

Kabal continues on as it always has: the little candle in the distance you can come back to to play some games, talk on discord or just say hey from time to time. We continue to play a myriad of games so let me do a quick game update to give you a heads up on out biggest games currently!

Game Updates!

Guild Wars 2

Carries on! It's been kind of a rough time as we wait for new content and other grander updates but after a fairly tumultuous year that effected the game's developer from the ground up, it appears that development i s back in swing. A new Living World "Saga" has just begun which has given us some enjoyable content and the beginning of development on a new expansion was recently announced... a Cantha expansion :X So while we soldier on, the future looks interesting and we continue to do weekly raids so if you are interested, join us and see how much fun-steration you can handle! :)

Final Fantasy XIV

We've started a new home in the lands of Eorzea! Currently we reside on the Cactuar server and our free company is, as always, Kabal. We have a medium size guild house and several of our member have reached max level in multiple professions, so we have a lot of options in a compact and dedicated group. The recent introduction of Shadowbringers has given the game a sizable shot in the arm content wise. With three expansion of content to get through and the content released in between expansions, FFXIV has a ton of content to play trough that can keep you occupied for a good while if you want to take up the journey and pay the monthly.

Animal Crossing

The whole guild has been waylaid by a bunch of butterfly hunting, house building deadbeats that owe their life savings to a raccoon. If you want to be part of our currently most active community, jump on in and send us your friend code! Every day is something new and every day we have people on trying to maximize their turnips, making tarantulas islands, finding out which fancy hat is for sale and a bunch of other things I have no clue about because switches are sold out! D:

DOTA 2

Our DOTA contingent is small but dedicated and they keep on keeping on as they always have. With the advent of DOTA Underlords, there's finally a game/mode even I can play and not feel completely embarrassed in (so far...) If you have a MOBA itch, they are here!


Community Update!

I wanted to do another community update considering the recent pandemic and the fact that many of us have literally been commanded to shelter at home currently. During these times, it can be hard to know exactly what to do with all this sudden extra time we have and the current state of the world can be difficult for many people as they come to grips with the new status quo.

With that, I just wanted to say that Kabal is there for you on our Slack and Discord servers if you need to talk, decompress, keep up to date on current events or just want to play games and do what we in Kabal do. Currently you'll find members at most hours of the day as we all try to find ways to kill time and you are all more than welcome to join us and check in!
