▸ If gas is expensive, please wait to re-roll. The event is live for 2 weeks and there is no benefit to rolling early.

Technical Notes
▸ Rarity Tiers (common, uncommon, rare, epic, grail) are solely on the joinvalhalla.com UI, and are not always directly correlated to rarity. i.e. there are many trait variants within each category, some categories having up to 8 traits, which can make individual variants appear rare. A rare variant is not truly as rare as a trait in its own category that is rare.

▸ Remember that image generation is OFF CHAIN, while your metadata is stored ON CHAIN and is the source of truth for your Valhalla NFT. While we have done extensive testing of our re-roll feature, during the re-roll period we will be supporting billions of trait combinations and thousands of metadata updates all at once. These will always be correct on-chain, but please contact the team directly in the small chance you experience any off-chain image generation issues. We will be on standby to help resolve any issues as quickly as possible!

TLDR; If you see any issue with an image you obtain from re-roll, reach out to us promptly via a support ticket and our core team will have it fixed for you.

▸ While we will be hitting the OpenSea endpoints each time metadata is changed on-chain, we recommend checking our website or manually refreshing the metadata before making purchases on secondary marketplaces to ensure what you're seeing is up-to-date while our re-roll event is live. Our website will always have more up-to-date images and metadata than secondary marketplaces.

The Armory allows holders to re-roll certain traits of their Avatars on-chain. To use the Armory, holders must burn an Armory token.

◑ INSTRUCTIONS
▸ Select a Trait
▸ Burn an Armory Token
▸ Receive 3 New Options
▸ Replace your Trait or Keep the Original
Traits chosen to be replaced will update the metadata of your Avatar on-chain and cannot be reversed.

◑ RE-ROLLABLE TRAITS
▸ Primary (Weapon)
▸ Clothing
▸ Hair (Except Grail Types)

There is no limit to how many times you can re-roll your traits, but you can only re-roll traits your Avatar already has (e.g. you cannot re-roll into a Primary if you don't already have one).
Base Type, 3rd Party IP traits, and certain Type-exclusive traits cannot be rerolled.

This, along with coordinated drop rates, will preserve the general rarity across the collection.

Drop rates for each Type will be published.

◑ RE-ROLL EVENT SCHEDULE
Armory Tokens do not expire, but there are specific periods in which they can be used.

The first re-roll period begins Wednesday, Dec 14th at 12:00PM PST and ends Wednesday, Dec 28th at 12:00PM PST.

◓ ARMORY TOKEN SUPPLY
SUPPLY: 45,000

The Armory Tokens are a deflationary token with a fixed supply.

The remainder of the tokens will be airdropped, one per NFT, over the next week. Snapshots will be taken prior to each drop. Unused tokens will be available for future use.

Most of us have seen Alex posting these letters on his Twitter page, either spelling out D.R.O.P or P.O.R.D ... ?

It seems safe to assume that the "Drop" message is linked to the recent teaser of the token on Valhalla's Twitter post. Some speculate it's related to manipulating your metadata post-reveal, others think it could be a governance token for holders.



New tweet from Ryan most likely indicates the announcement of a new partnership around the corner. We're all waiting on the Esport CEO AMA next week to know more about the details but, it's very exciting to add more big names to the already impressive roster of partners.
