This group is for posting announcements about upcoming PUGs (pick-up games/gathers).

PUGs are made for players who wish to play among better players and with more teamwork then our regular pub sessions. PUGs will be played on password protected server(s) and all players will need a microphone and to be present on Teamspeak where they will be divided into teams.

For now, it starts among the EU player base.

First DGL Insurgency PUG Event today!

DGL will be holding their first PUG event today (Saturday Nov 17th) starting at 13:00 EST / 19:00 CET / 18:00 GMT. Expect to play 4-5 hours.

They will be using their website for the pug event so make sure to register your account at https://www.thedgl.com/. They are planning to have stats (work in progress) for the pug event!

You need to be in Discord for the event http://discord.thedgl.com/

Please show up 15 minutes early so the teams can be picked. hose that show up late may be forced to sit out for those who arrived sooner!

The format will depend on the number of players (round robin, group stage to winners face off). We will try to make it as concise as possible!

PUG's go like this:

1. Everyone joins the pug waiting room
2. Team captains (usually veteran players) start choosing teams
3. Players are moved to the appropriate team channel
4. Team captains then instruct their teams what server to join
5. Both teams join the appropriate server
6. Ready call is made
7. Game is made live
8. Games are played Best of 10 (5-5 Tie, First to 6 wins)

The event will use the default competitive theater. We cannot modify this theater to have more rounds yet.
