Ion and Build talked and discovered what they feel has contributed to the constant decline of activity on the server. Go vote on whether or not you support their logic/reasoning, and discuss in the comments. The latest news is that Bukkit is shutting down, and spigot is fighting to stay alive. We don't have high hopes for spigot however. Because of this we have switched to Vanilla Minecraft and are considering modifications or at least Forge if we want to maintain DynMap.

Another issue has arisen. Upon updating to 1.8 the server has become much more unstable. After diagnosing the problem it became clear the source of lag and unstableness was our current world.
