iGn-eSports TMNF Formula 1 Tournament – Edition 2009!

As most of you already know, iGn-esports launched a brand new formula of Trackmania Forever racing last year en continues this now with it's 2009
edition.

A 30 minutes thrilling formula 1 race!

The iGn-Esports F1 Tournament runs equally with the Real Formula 1 Tournament .
On every Sunday the Real Formula1 has a race, we organize the same Grand Prix on a remake of the Real F1 circuit in tmnf .

The tracks are based on the circuits of the Real F1 Tournament and include a pitstop with refueling, a fuelmeter, a F1 mod, a F1 scenery and many other F1 details.

The GP Prizes
The winner of every Grand Prix gets a Prize for his victory and @ the end of the Season the winner gets a stunning prize.

The Qualifications are in time attack on our F1 server, online for every Grand Prix from Tuesday 00:00 hours till Saturday 20:00 hours,followed by the finals on Sunday in laps.

The players with the 22 best recs will be qualified for the Finals of a GP and those with the recs from 1 to 8 will get 5, 3, 2, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1 points for the 2009 Championship.

The positions in the Finals are determined by the recs of the players drove in the qualifications.

The Finals are in laps mode and the number of laps corresponds with about 30 minutes of driving.

The finals of our GP's are always @ 20:00 hours on Sunday, the same day as the corresponding GP in the real F1.

To have car positions in the Finals, we have introduced a “PositionTime” that will be added to the time of the Finals of each player according to his rec in the Qualifications.
This PositionTime will be determined by the number of his qualification rec reduced by 1 and then divided by 10.
Ex.; 1st rec 0.0 sec, 2nd rec +0.1 sec, 3th rec +0.2 sec....22th rec + 2.1 sec.

The player who drives all the laps in the shortest time (plus his position time) is the winner of the Grand Prix.

The winner will get a nice prize, like a MP3 player, a keyboard, a headset...

The players with the places from 1 to 8 will get 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 points for the 2009 Chamionship score.
All the players who end the race completely will also get 1 point.

The Champion of the 2009 season will be the player who collected the highest number of point during the entire Tournament.

The Registration

To register, click Registrations or the F1 flyer on here our homepage.
You only have to post your tmnf login and your nickname there.
Later on, your login will be added to the guest list of the server so that you can join without password.
You have to register only once for the entire season.

The server will be located in Belgium / Vlaams-Brabant and the servername will be iGn + the name of the actual GP.
