Right now, I'm lead to believe MLP is in a VERY, VERY poor state at this point in time. With M.A Larson and Daniel Ingram leaving the show, things are looking pretty grim. The Season 6 finale had a lot of negative feedback and almost everyone I know HATED the new changeling designs and felt Chrysalis didn't get anywhere near as much screentime as she should've that episode. To make things worse, there is a film coming out this year. Don't get me wrong, I think making a theatrical release non EQG related film is a great idea. I just have fears and concerns. Films based on games, shows and toylines usually don't go very well. But, I think the show has ONE! One big saving grace. Equestria Girls. And no, before you get angry at me for contradicting myself, I'm not talking about a movie. Hasbro announced that this year we'll recieve three new Equestria Girls shorts going for around 20 minutes each. If done right, this could be a game changer. The pony world hasn't been doing well recently. I think if this was to be done right, Hasbro could make some good cash outta this and bring some newcomers into the fandom. They could make an entire show out of it. Each episode having the standard 20 minute length but focusing more on storylines and spreading them across 3-5 episodes. This could allow for some serious character depth and development. A lot of people probably hate this idea and that's fine. This is just what I THINK Hasbro would benefit from.

Well, first off. I'm not dead. I'm still here. I haven't been doing much with this group lately. I've been busy with a few other things but I'm going to be on a lot more in around two weeks time. Anyway, it's been a while since the finale of season six was released and I've been wondering, what are your thoughts? Do you like the new changeling designs? Did you like Starlight's role?
