Hey! Man reading these last few comments... It reminded me of the fun we had with this server, and what it meant to folks. For a long while now we've been hosting alot of other servers including other gmod servers, but haven't resurrected stranded. It was just sad to see it online long past it's former glory, so on the latest server transition I just never brought it back up. It's been nearly a year since we've had a stranded server online and it feels wrong to keep it offline any longer. Even if only a few folks are interested in playing on it or joining, that's worth it!

It runs the same content as before and all saves since the last server are present and safe, including pointshop content. I hope those interested will find pleasure in it being back up again :)

I used to be an admin was a great server shame i wonder what happened

I literally grew up on that server, I even remember the day you guys implemented the anti prop kill system and how bad it really was beforehand it really was a miracle hahahah- plus the maps oof rolling hills and the island map for the 2nd server lmao still remember the secret islands you could find. Idek if the server is still up but I recall joining last year to check in but no one was on so i had to leave after waiting for an hour, I've recently reinstalled Gmod and i noticed the first thing i did was search for HCM stranded #1 but I couldn't find anything plus the site's down so pls lmk what's up because I'd really love to be able to go back to the server I've loved for so long 2/2

I still remember my first day on stranded, my brother made me join and I learnt how to play off of him but he couldn't really play much since he was lagging so I had to do everything myself tbh hahahaha. That was maybe 5ish years ago, ever since then I still vividly remember how I joined the server every single day without fail, became friends people like Voss/vosstroyan I think? , prydoo, and a bunch of other admins / trial admins but I clearly can't remember their names off the top of my head hahaha. I think I got to around level 99+ being one of the higher non admin players, and jeez the memories 1/2

The Stranded server was closed down several months ago. If/when it comes back, we'll deal with any unban requests at that time.

also as I said I hit them twice by accident the ban was for rdmx4

I literally just got banned for misclicking with and hitting the guy twice when I also offered to heal the person I hit as it was by accident -_-

Oreln, we had to use a backup save so many people lost their progress.
Or if you were playing and then suddently lost your skills, just reconnect and you'll get them back!

26/06/2016 at 11:52:43 - banned by Celgar for RDMx3. Celgar left the following notes on your ban at the time "Originally RDMed a player twice which I warned him for but later RDMed his team mate, when I asked why I gave him more than enough time to answer me but he didnt"

28/06/2016 at 16:29:55 - banned by Zakko for RDM. Zakko left the following note about your ban "Killed a poor guy for no reason, living up to his previous RDM bans." You were then perma banned several minutes later by Zakko.

If a player has 3 serious bans then senior admins are allowed to permaban players, which is what happened here. However if you truly feel this ban was not fair and wish to make an appeal, then please create an account on our forums and post an unban request using the template provided.
