Step 1.
Get the source SDK base 2007, it is your Steam library under tools.

Step 2.
Get this ♥♥♥♥ and extract it to your sourcemods (Steam\steamapps\sourcemods) folder:

Step 3.
Get a bunch of really sexy ♥♥♥♥ that newguy put together; Only thing I made was the mag model (not the HD skin pulled over it), and it also has a bunch of custom sounds I made sexier in Audacity and made compatible on all new source engine versions.

Also extract this to sourcemods; you can also use it in any hl2 source game, but then u'd have to extract it someplace else then copy:/:pasta the contents to a hl2mp, ep2, etc.
Makes the games 1000x aesthetically better. Big time.
The hand models are BM:S's with a new cubemap I threw on that makes it look all DirecX11-like.

If you don't have 7zip or winrar, get 7zip @ www.7zip.org ; it is free and better than winrar.
Also, be sure to restart steam before trying to launch the mod after extracting it to sourcemods.

Be advised: although this combo is by far the best version of hl2dm, it is still hl2dm.
