THE SITE IS CURRENTLY NOT UNDER DEVELOPMENT

The site that is live is no longer being maintained. I've been working on a much improved version of the site that's easier to update for months. This new site is a lost faster, breaks less, and has tons of new features (including premium membership). However, it's not quite ready for launch since I've been focusing on the job that pays the bills.

Sorry for the downtime. I'll post again when I have good news.

Hats.TF is dead, but I am not.

Hello loyal users,

Hats.TF has not been functioning since the Manhattan Update for TF2 last year, and I haven't gone back to it. Why? I needed to focus on my main job and I couldn't put the time needed to fix and push updates.

It's never going to be fixed, because for the past few months I have been working on the successor. Using my learned knowledge of the WebAPI, as well as the populairty of other Valve games such as Dota 2 and CS:GO, I realized Hats.TF was just a narrow piece of my fuller dream.

I have been in talks with a developer who is far more experienced than me about the next generation platform I have always wanted to build. The scope of this project is going to be much bigger than backpack scanning, which for all intents and purposes, only was used to shark items.

Thank you all for trying to contact me about Hats.TF but I haven't responded because it's not really relevant where the future is going. My passion for making intelligent tools that enhance your gaming experience is still there, but I don't want to release prototypes or experiments anymore.

I hope you all had a good year, thank you for your continued interest, and look forward to 2015 being the year I finally get my ♥♥♥♥ together.

Getting LOST with HATS

These past few months have been trying: moving some hundred miles south and preparing for a second move a couple thousand miles west later this year.

In order to finally release the Hats.TF that has been in development for almost two years now, I will be completing re-writing the bug fixes, enhanced sorting, and a searchable item database while marathoning LOST.

I anticipate that the final product will be done at the same time that I finish the acclaimed series sometime later this month, just in time for Halloween. The next time you'll hear from me is to announce the new site.

Thank you for your interest in Hats.TF development and thank you Damon Lindelof for greating what I consider to be the greatest story ever told and the only reason why I purchased a Bluray player.

Try http://Scan.TF instead. Sadly, I think Hats.TF is history

it's dead. this group has been dead for a long time. there hasn't been up update in nearly a year.

I'm beginning to think that the site is dead. I don't want it to be, though. This is a great site, and has saved me lots of time when i can scan a trade server without asking over and over. i really hope he can get it up and running again.
