It's paid mods published by Bethesda, which of course means they're broken generally useless garbage. Forced updates for the creation club take up space on your PC and break the real mods you get from the Nexus as well as SKSE and F4SE. Personally, I don't think I'll buy anything else from Bethesda. They're not worth it anymore.

it's not entirely the same. With Skyrim it was valve opening the floodgates on Steam, making it possible that anyone could take - even steal - and sell to make some quick, easy money, with no limits or control. The CC is at least a seperate thing, and claims it won't threaten the free mods community, plus is ruled and controlled by Bethesda, not the modders themselves. So with these factors in mind, I can freely decide not to like it, not to care about it, and not waste any effort trying to do anything about it. is it paid mods? Yes, which is why I won't touch it. Is it unlimited chaos that allows absolutely anything that can go wrong to happen as SPM did? No, so I don't have to worry about anything beyond showing my disaproval by not spending anything on it.

where is the same outrage with skyrim paid mods ? this is literally the same thing

I don't really care for it. I'm not against modders making a living out of doing what they love, but I won't pay money for stuff that can conflict, bug out, corrupt and break down on it's own at any moment without the garantuee of a solid fix that a proper game studio offers. It's even riskier than early-access or crowdfunded games, which also are two things i stay away from. if i spend my money, I expect a certain degree of garantuee, assurance and accountability that modders cannot offer.

Maybe if they had actual good shit like full quests and high quality armor packs, it would be good, but right now, it's utter shit

It's just a big joke. It's not paid mods, just mods you pay for.

I'm beginning to lose respect in Bethesda in almost every decision they make.
