The results are in.

The tournament concludes with Crimson Tactictical taking the championship[challonge.com]. We were one of the four teams to be eliminated in the first round. Of those four, our match was the closest.

As the entente, we captured the German line three times, but each time we were forced back. We suffered 197 casualties, and they 145. We entered battle in disarray as the Germans. We were swiftly ejected from our position, with 49 losses on our side and 28 on theirs. Jess was our deadliest player with 40 kills over both matches.

What of Gremlin Gang?

I've been asked whether the Gremlin Gang will continue in some form or other. The simple answer is no. There will be no clan or attempt to maintain continuity between this and any future collective effort. I will leave this page up as an archive and noticeboard.

That said, I've learned a lot during this process, I had fun doing it, and I'm thankful for all the effort everyone put in. I hope the conversations we've started will continue. I am open to the discussion of other projects, and welcome any such discussion on this page.

How was your vacation from Verdun has been going? if you ask me, my vacation is going quite well playing Rome 2 total war in the meantime. Anyway Bercilac and I have plans to turn this ad hoc group into a regular in the competitive scene. That said, we wont be necessarily starting hardcore pratices but start just by easing back into Public games and trying some new Bercilac tatics. Thus does Saturday at around 9pm est sound good for anyone?

Also a big thanks for Coiler46 and Ras for being availble for the quarter finals even though we couldn't let you play. I swear competitive Verdun needs to go 16 v 16 with no weapon bans.

CT Beserk is organizing a RDM after the VCT to find the best shooter/player of Verdun. Each team can select a champion to represent tnem in the field. So if you wamt to particpate just message either me or Bercilac.

The first round of tournament match-ups have been announced, and we are going to be fighting the Kaiser Kompanie!

The match will be this Sunday, at 8pm EDT. As we've had time zone issues in the past, that will be:

8pm in New York or Toronto.
7pm in Austin, Texas.
9pm in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

I think that covers it? How do we not have people from the West Coast? Let me know if you're from the West Coast. Well, just in case, it'll be at 5pm in Los Angeles.
