GREAT JOB GUYS! As of last night, we have acquired over 100 members within the Globally Offensive Casuals community! I would personally like to thank everyone for their support and dedication to the group! I love you all <3

Let's keep up the pace and show everyone how CS:GO casual gameplay is really done!

What a great night! We had a huge group of good people playing for nearly the entire night with full server cooperation.

We played a number of great games. In addition to all our usual fun that we normally play (shenanigans in the dust II pit, civil wars, Mexican standoffs, knives&zeus, negev trench warfare, etc..), we've added some really fun new games to the rotation:


Hide & Seek: One team is designated as the hiders and the other team are the seekers. The hiders get 40 seconds to find a hiding spot while the seekers wait in spawn. After 40 seconds, the seekers go out and search for everybody that's hiding. When a seeker finds someone they get a kill, which the hider must accept. The last remaining person hiding is declared the victor! Then the team roles switch and the previous seekers become the new hiders and so on. This was really fun, especially when we took it to a big map like cobblestone. I can't wait to try this on some of the other bigger maps

CS:GO Tag: One player is called out as being 'it'. The player who is 'it' must try to avoid being found by the opposite team by blending in with his/her teammates. With their knives equipped, the teammates will attempt to throw off the hunters by disorienting them to help the person who is 'it' blend in. The hunters, with their pistols equipped (so they can see the names of the opposite team) will attempt to find whoever is 'it'. When a hunter has found the person who is 'it', the hunter will take out his/her knife and give him/her a poke. At that point the next person who will be 'it' is called (ideally from the opposite team so each team gets a chance to hunt) and so on. This game mode is a work in progress still, as we have yet to discover if we should allow smoke grenades, decoys, and whether or not we should be eliminating players who are found. Nova Tower: Everybody buys a nova and meets at a spot. The CT's and T's jump on top of each other to make a large tower, and then after a countdown everybody shoots XD

If you didn't end up playing with GloballyOC last night, I regret to inform you that you missed out on some really great fun!

Check out some the screenshots on "My name is not Jeff" or my page for an idea of some of the things we were able to achieve. We had full server cooperation for nearly the entire night, playing with both group members and non group members alike. Some of the games we played included:

On Dust 11(in pit):
~ Fire in the hole- everybody jumped into pit holding a grenade and held their ground. It went out with a bang... :D

~Hell pit- everyone threw fire in the pit and jumped in. I'm still trying to figure out how my team lost that round....I guess the CT team has better boots

~Civil War- CT's vs T's lined up facing each other holding SSG08. We popped smokes to simulate musket fire, and then at the count of three we fired across the map through the smoke non scoped. Ton of fun, especially when people were shouting out phrases as if we were actually in the civil war XD


On mirage:
~Mexican standoff- we had a few no scope SSG08 battles that lasted nearly the entire round. Good stuff.

~Dualies Dual- With 20 people carrying dual barrettes, its quite a sound to hear 40 guns going off in a small area. It's also proof that having more guns is always better...sorta. Well, it's a lot more fun that's for sure :)

~Knives&Zeus- What could be better then having a trusty blade in one slot and the power of zeus in the other. We went medieval on nearly ever map we could.


It was a great night and we met some great people. Thankfully, many of the people we met are now a part of the GloballyOC family :)
