Today the bear of Funkytown chose to leave the clan.

Grizzly has been one of our players for a long time and can be called, with right, a true legend of Hide and Seek.

Grizzly joined the clan the 30th of March 2008, in the early days of Funkytown and has since then played:

Grizzly has been a true friend of everyone in the clan. A true player to his craft. For he can be called one of the absolute best trickjumpers in the sport of 100 aa.

Grizzly will both be remembered and missed, but he has other challenges to face in the future. For he does not retire nor seek a clan, so the future is still a question in the carreer of Grizzly.

It is with sadness that we say goodbye, to a loyal friend and a loyal player.

Today, Grizzly and Funkytown part ways.

The final match in the Ninjazone cup is done after two clans stood up to eachother.

Funkytown vs. Dictator, two of the best teams in the world met, but the match were much shorter than expected.

The knifing round starts, they get the first kill, but then Reavap gets two, and another one, and suddenly they are down to one who also gets killed.
Funkytown starts T - 3 minutes after, the score, is Funkytown 1-0 Dictator - zEPEKINo wins it after a brilliant showoff.
Dictator is shattered and scared, have they been ready for a top-motivated elite-team? These thoughts have probably gone through the heads of some of the players of Dictator.
But they manage to become T, after a normal round that goes to about 1 minute and 10 seconds.
But after 30 seconds they felt the power of our CT side, there's no doubt that our CT side is one of the absolute best in the world, if not the best. And they couldn't pass our defense. It was a beatdown.
The next hour is all us, nothing them, we don't feel any pressure, while we are pressuring them 80 % of our rounds.
I take a round. 2-0 is the score, everyone knows it but no one is saying it, it's a matter of time before we win it.
About 10 rounds later, zEPEKINo takes the last round in a dominant fashion.

After 1 hour and 10 minuts Funkytown can call themselves winners of Ninjazone-cup 2009.

Looking at the scores, we didn't lose a single round in this whole tournament. (But we lost one to VIRTUAL, but they left and admins decided it was a 3-0 walkover)

We have never lost, ever. Funkytown still stands as the strongest team in the world. And yes, we will love to meet VIRTUAL again.

Furthermore a big up to zlincker who made this tournament possible, more of them in the future please. And a big up to all clans who showed up and represented their tag during this match.

I want to say Good Game to everyone we played, all over the line there's been no whine or flaming and every match has been fun (ofcourse it's a little bit more fun when you win 3-0 every time, but people are acting as gentlemen, and that's really beautiful to see.)
