Races will take place every Tuesday starting 20:30 Central European Time (19:30 UK) and we will progress from the naturally aspirated 1997 V12s through to the modern day hybrids.

Event Info:

There will be 2 events per car on consecutive weeks:-

Race 1 of pair:-

• 1-shot quali, 1/6 full distance. Start grip 97%. Any tyre(s).
  
• A “wee” break.
  
• 1-shot quali,
  
• 1/2 distance race. Start grip 97%. Tyres to reflect the era.

Race 2 of pair:-

• 18 min quali, 1/2 distance race. Start grip 97%. Tyres to reflect the era.

Race events on alternate Wednesdays starting on 14th August, with 2 pre-season practice races.

• Track grip is 97% at start of quali and rubbers-in to 100% by end of race
  
• Realistic temps and tyre choices (same 3 compounds as real F1)
  
• Full or near-full fuel at race start
  
• Tyre wear is modified to create a borderline between 1 & 2-stop strategies
  
• Tyre management is a big factor in our league, it's not all about speed.
  
• Our own radical and much-simplified ERS system

* 3 compounds available each race and start on softest compound (forces more difficult strategy decisions)

* Modified physics to make car more accessible to league drivers.

The format has become more about simulating the problems real F1 has with tyre management etc and bit less about being a straightforward sprint to the end.
