A short film project by players of HL2:DM

Essentially this is a film project idea, thought of by me: ßREASTŠAM?LÈR(MELB).
For years I have had the idea of adapting one of the most loved and popular FPS games. But this time, adapting a game into a movie that can work, unlike previous Hollywood game\film adaptations.
As the director of this short film, I encourage all who have any type of skills or talents to join this group. Ideas are certainly most welcome. Although I will be writing it too, I do welcome others to help out with the script, but also other departments like costume design, set design, camera crew, CGI, etc.
This film will be based in and around the area of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. But if you based elsewhere, you can still join and take part in the most ambitious amateur film adaptations of one of the most beloved and played FPS games.

Quick update to say the forum is set up.
I found a suitable place, I'm just finalising the forum graphics then I'll post a link up.

A Long Overdue Update!

Hey everyone,
The last time you all heard from me I spoke about getting a proper forum set up for everyone here and else who would like to discuss and bounce ideas around about this Half Life 2 film idea I have on the go.
Well, as always, there were a few hiccups.
It was set up, ready to go but I had a few personal commitments that took up my time.
Then the server\website it was sub-domain of, crashed or something and so everything had to be reset. Except, the forum for us.
It also seems that the guy Im trying to get to set it up is either too slack, too busy or just does't want to do it (without telling me upfront)
So over the next week I'm going to be looking to find a suitable place to set up the forum. I may even place under my website (one I have in development already) if I can and doesn't bump my bandwidth up to high.

Sorry to everyone for the MASSIVE delay.

If anyone has any ideas on where a good place can be to set up a forum or has some good ideas on how to do it, you can either add me, or find me in HL2:DM on either the BestGN, Netspeed (Low Gravity) servers.

Sorry again everyone and with any luck, things will start moving along around here.
