After months of talking about it we have at last set up a seperate computer to act as our ET server (and by we I mean Ian with lots of encouragement from me) so that means it now time to one again see if we can arrange a night of destroying water pumps, panzer sniping, and pixel twitch head shots sometime in the not to to distant future. So notify Ian or myself about your upcoming schedule and we can see about trying to work out something. Feel free to invite a friend or two. It'd be great to get at least a 4v4 going, though 6v6 would be even better =) Cheers and happy hunting!

Anyone else out there got a monitor that scoffs at 5 year old video games? Do you wish that you could play in fullscreen mode without distortion? Now you can.

Boot up the game and bring down the console (~). Enter the following commands:

\r_customwidth "xxxx"

\r_customheight "xxxx"

\r_mode "-1"

Restart the game and you should be good. Enjoy the eye candy.

Sat. the 28th. Possible shindig. If you're home and your computer is running you should log into steam... you just might run into enough people to get a campaign going. Regardless of my Sat. evening activities (which are currently up in the air) I'll have a server (MeCubed's Headshottery) up and passworded.

Ok folks, we have begun to garner a fair number of players, so I say its hi time we started thinking about finding a time to get everyone together and play. Personally I'd love to have a match going tomorrow night (1/11/09) but I'm guessing that's a bit short notice, so let's aim for next week. If you all could send me an e-mail with days and times you can play I will start compiling some possible gaming times and we can get this show on the road! Chances are that it's been years since you've played. That means you probably need to download everything all over again. Well, no worries! What with the speed of today's interweb-tubes it's a relatively painless endeavor. You can find the files you need on either of the two sites posted above in the profile, though the first of the two (and faster of the two) will require you to create a login to do so.

Here's what you need:

ET client 2.55
ET patch 2.60
ET patch 2.60b

Install the 2.55 client. Run the 2.60 patch. And finally unzip the ET.exe and ETDED.exe files from the 2.60b.zip file into your main ET folder. If you have any questions, feel free to message me.
