We're proud to bring you eSportsChicago, an organization focused on building the eSports community in Chicago. As a bunch of Counter-Strike fanatics we're starting off primarily focused on bringing the hype for CS:GO in Chicago. We strive to be more than a eSports news site, or a community, our dream is to build a local following so strong that Chicago can foster its very own professional CS:GO team. We want to make the market for Professional CS:GO in Chicago.

We'll bring you the latest news in the CS:GO professional scene, keep you updated on Chicago eSports events, and host local gatherings. Over the next half-decade we see CS:GO and various other eSports cresting out of the depths of counter-culture and into something non-gamers can enjoy. This starts locally. Why only Chicago? Simply because we know that spectator sports fans are forged in the furnace of dive bars with nice TVs, and there's plenty of those in Chicago.

It's easy to watch Twitch in your sweatpants, spamming Kappa123 in the chat under an anonymous name... but we want you out getting amped over a CS:GO game at a local bar with friends. Why? Because that's what makes a sport a sport. It starts with a following, it starts with an exciting product to view, and it starts with a place to bring those two things together.
