Hi dear ePalz players!

I have just configured and installed SMAC (SourceMod Anti-Cheat) on all of our servers.

We have done this to cut down the amount of cheaters on our servers.

Besides SMAC, we do also use SteamBans.com which is a global ban database, where players are banned by demoes submitted to the site, and then approved by multiple admins.


If you have been banned by SMAC and think it is a mistake, then please send us an email at admin@epalz.eu, then we will look into it.

Som i måske har lagt mærke til, har vi i de seneste måneder været offer for et meget stort DDoS angreb. Angrebet står desværre stadig på.
Et angreb der ser ud til at have været specifikt i mod vores servere.

Vi har derfor været nød til at gå så langt, at vi har politianmeldt angrebet, til det danske politi, i samarbejde med vores server udbyder.

DDoS er en alvorlig forbrydelse, der i Danmark straffes fra bøde og op til fængsel i to år. Vil du i fængsel for at udføre et DDoS-angreb? Det tror jeg ikke..

Hvis du sider inde med nogle ekstra information vi kan bruge omkring angrebet, så send det til admin@epalz.eu, så vil vi videre sende det, til det danske politi, med henvisning til vores sag.

As you may have seen erlier, we have been a target for an very large DDoS attack over the past months. Unfortunately, the attack is still on-going.
This seems to be specifically against our servers.

We are now going that far, that we have reported the attack to the Danish Police, in co-operation with our Game Service Provider.

DDoS is a serious crime, that can give the guilty up to one year in prison, and in special cases up to two years - Do you want to go to jail, just because of a DDoS attack? I don't think so..


If any of you have extra information about the people behind the attacks, please email it to us at admin@epalz.eu, then we will forward it to the Danish Police with the reference to our case.

Hi Dear ePalz.

We have lately been under DDoS attack on various servers.

It's very sadly..


Players there are admins as i write this, has got added one extra month of admin to their admin periode, for compentation for the down time of the servers.

Hi dear ePalz!

I am very, very! sad to tell you that our DK servers has been shutdown by our host GameServers.com.

Because of a large DDOS attack at their danish servers, they decided to cancel the subscription we had with them, from day to day. as our servers was a part of the target.

We still believe that it is the host and not the client, who is responsible for a attack, or to get it solved. But GameServers.com did not show this maturity.

I know this as a fact, as i work at a hosting/outsorucing company myself. We would never give our customers the responsibility for such a attack. But we would work hard to fix it!


We are currently looking for a new host, so we can get our DK servers up again.

Again i'm very sad to tell you this news..
