Just a heads up to our L4D2 players, we had to switch the Coop #1 and #3 to regular 4 Player settings, cuz after a Fall L4D2 Update (i believe it was the FOV setting fix, but not 100% sure) the player controls for the SuperVersus plugin doesnt seem to wanna work from a Linux Dedicated Server, although luckily it is currently loading enough to still make most of the options and/or controls work, so everything except for the + players in coop still works on our DG Coop servers, everything still works from Windows for now.
(like the !pickbot and !csm functions)

If we can get it fixed or set up again with a different set of SourceMod Plugins, then we will set them back up as 8 player Coop, till then at least we can still play the default 4 player style L4D2, but with better / fixed options and settings and with friends on custom campaigns in coop and realism.
(which most of the options we added probably should have been default options included in L4D2 at launch. . . ugh lol)

We also updated the Fatal Freight map to the Remastered version by the original Dev, and the Haunted Forest Authors version, which is a finished version by the original Dev as well, the maps increased in size a bit but still great campaigns that run perfect now!

After the Last Stand update for L4D2 a lot of the old SM plugins were broken, but luckily thanks to some talented community developers all the plugins we use on our Coop servers should be working fine, but let us know if something is messed up or not working the way it used to.
Also we got the Ping / Latency issue fixed, so the servers should be nice and smooth, or at least as smooth as servers ever are lol.

Lastly, we got suggestions for a new winter themed map called Whispers of Winter, so after a check its been added to the servers and the Custom Campaign List discussion thread, and the map Dead Series has been removed to make some space, so dont forget to check it out!

cuz ya know. . . tis the season. xP

There is also a new mod in the Workshop that allows you to make an 8 player coop lobby, and start the lobby to connect everyone to a server with 8 players or more, so check out the mod if your interested in using it for 8 player coop in L4D2.

(works same as usual, get to making a coop lobby and make sure the Server Type is set to Steam Group Server in the lobby settings, then when the lobby leader starts the game he/she will be able to choose from their own group servers list, just dont let everyone vote to start or it will pick a random server)

We finally got to the bottom of what was messing with the Zhell #2 server (thanks Hades), so it should be up and running.

All skills and classes should still be recorded from the past, so happy gaming guys and girls.

(once again another Zhell plugin showed up for CS:GO, so we'll check it out and see how it looks in case we can get a Classic / RPG for CS:GO, but with all the other Zhell plugins being broken unless the Dev keeps updating the code when the game is updated, we arent super confident its gonna run well, so just a heads up)

We've installed a L4D2 stats plugin on the L4D2 servers, although unfortunately each server will record a players stats separately, we will be looking into a plugin that will record stats collectively for all the L4D2 servers so there is a chance the stats will reset at some point if we change to a new one. That will also allow us more options for events with L4D2, for example a game giveaway to the player that kills the most Chargers in 1 week or throughout 1 month.

Commands:

!pss_info
shows you the stats you have

shows you the stats of that player

We have also got to the bottom of the Realism problem, seems that custom campaigns wont run realism unless the map, textures, models etc. are unpacked from the .vpk file and merged with the server, which is a lot of crap and work lol and if we have to remove a map then we have to track down all its parts, so we may have to make another list of Realism enabled maps in the Discussions Page, currently only Open Road works in realism (and the original L4D2 campaigns of course) but we'll be adding more once we have time.

***EDIT*** hopefully we have it worked out so all the campaigns can run Realism mode, so plz let us know if any of them arent working correctly or give off the "sv_consistency" error.
