PSA: Check whether you're still opted into the beta on Steam!

Playerbase is split between beta and regular, because post-GFWL players would never have opted in. Let's get everyone back on the same version! I don't see a reason to stay in the beta, so here's how to check if you're still opted in:

Right click Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition in your Steam Games list
Click "Properties"
Click the "Betas" tab
Make sure the drop down menu is set to "NONE - Opt out of all betas"

PVP is properly working now!

After a few days of messing around, it is pretty safe to confirm that PVP is working (finally!!!)

If you're playing with the thought of returning back to DS1, NOW is the best time.

To make sure that you get the best of your PVP experience, download the latest version of Watchdog. This program allows you to get rid of cheaters. In addition you can see to how many nodes (sessions) you're connected.

i have same name on GFWL, anybody want to help me practice fighting against poise tanks with my dex/faith build, giantdad & full havel with greatshield + rapier? Or just some tips. I have 63-66 poise and use iaito, great scythe, gold tracer, shotel, swag sword, and rapier, from most to least used. I only just discovered how awesome gold tracer is against other dex builds though.

We've just got a bunch of new members. Since most people here are using DSCfix, put your GFWL names into the thread. Summons/Arena fights should be instant if you and your duel partner are using the fix.

Use the Groupchat to find duel partners, to discuss pvp or just to hang out.
