Slurpers are now more aggressive and drain more hunger.

You can repair chess junk piles with gears to spawn a friendly chess mob.

Sped up the descent of the depth dweller spiders.

Splumonkeys no longer use the “follower” component while they harass you. This should make fighting back easier.

You can now craft a shooty horn/eye turret item.

You can now craft potted ferns.

You can now craft the “Deconstruction Staff”. Because there was some concern about the staff during the last preview, here is a breakdown of its functions:

You can deconstruct any item that has a recipe to gain the materials used to craft it.

The staff takes into account how worn the item is. If you deconstruct armour with only 30% durability left, you will only get 30% of the materials back.

The staff will never give back gems that are part of any recipe.

You can now craft Thulecite Walls.

Items in the ruins will now sometimes drop “Thulecite Fragments” which can be refined into Thulecite.

The Ancient Guardian will now drop a horn when killed.

Fishing in the wilds ponds will now produce an eel.

The eel can be cooked into unagi.

Changed the art for the monkey spawner.

Increased the number of uses the Pick/Axe has.

Krampus is being re-thought by the devs, and this prompted me to ask, what is your opinion? Currently the plan is to remove the Naughtiness, reskin him, and make him a normal enemy. Do you like that? Or will you join Team Krampus, and vote for a restructured Naughtiness system instead of a reskin?

Yes, we're going underground! Caves have been added! Search for a Sinkhole to unlock a world of brand new monsters and items!

Technical Stuff:

The game now runs on Mac and Linux on Steam
The game properly supports monitors with aspect ratios other than 16:9
You can resize the HUD in the options menu
The debug menu is disabled by default. You can enable it by editing your settings.ini



New Craftables:

New armours: Grass and Marble
You can craft a walrus-tusk walking stick



New Findables:

You can find blueprints which unlock some recipes early
Added lumpy trees that don’t drop pinecones
Added pig heads on sticks in mermland, merm heads on sticks in pigland
Added titles at the start of adventure mode
Some resource types will randomly swap out in adventure mode levels, for added challenge



Bug Fixes:

Some optimization work for worlds with lots of entities
Entity culling works properly with gigantic resolutions
Mushrooms don’t re-grow in winter
Sped up “isonroad” query considerably
