Discriminated for too long....

Furries, we all know out fellow fans of anthros have been persecuted for too long. If we are to stop the persecution, I suppose, we must realize and accept the truth. Too many people are living up to the furry stereotype, way too many. It's apparent that we fans are persecuted because of these people, but you can't quite get rid of them. If we personally, the decent people, are going to escape being accused of the horrors, we must break away and make a name for ourselves to show not all furries are all about yiff.

This group is for fans of anthropomorphic animals and furries who are fed up with all of the persecution and being told they are just like the furry stereotype, when in reality, they are nothing of the sort. You could call this an Anti-Yiff, or Anti-Furry porn group if you want, but it's mainly focusing on how yiff and it's related fetishes are destroying the fandom's reputation, and possibly even the fandom its self. We need people who are either against yiff and it's related content, or people who don't think it should consume the whole fandom, like it is right now in the present. Yiff does not only destroy the fandom, it also makes its way to just about every place on the internet, by means of trolls, and fetish furries posting it. This makes the hatred for the fandom more intense with every photo and peice of media furries post with furry-related fetishes. It also ruins childhoods, think about all of the kids and the shows that the fandom has made yiff for, think back to the ones you yourself watched as a kid. The endless persecution of innocent fans is too much of a price to pay for something so insignificant, and I'm sure there is some furs out there who agree with me. We must band together, my friends, let the world know who we are, and what we are fighting for.

Criticism, The Truth, and The "Rule34" Cover-Up

Alright, I'm posting about the Group "It's Not About Yiff!" here on Steam. I understand what you are trying for, but you can't stop persecution until we band together to rid of it completely. I know most furries do yiff from time to time, most of the time more, but some furries who do not yiff are accused. I will quote and comment on parts of your summary:

"This is not an anti-yiff group,"
Unfortunately, it's not going to do any good for the fandom's name, sorry.

"...we believe that yiff sould not be the most prominent thing in the fandom."
This is a good belief, but still, unless yiff is taken out of the fandom, or the good furries would separate from their stereotypical counter-parts, It will remain the most prominent thing in the Public's eye.

Sadly, it does as of right now....

"Also, many people hate the furry fandom because they see it not as a fandom, but as a fettish because yiff is the first thing that comes up with anything to do with furry..."
Indeed. Back to my statement, you can't demote yiff from it's high-horse in the fandom, just saying. The only way to stop the persecution is to separate the Furries from the Furverts.

In other news, I've heard a lot of yiff furries claiming that Rule 34 applies to everything. Like mentioned in the group above's summary, Yiff is considered by the public eye as the most prominent thing, and that view goes among Trolls, Every Day People, and sadly, Few furries. We need to realize the truth and accept it for things to get any better. Thanks guys, Dburch out.
