yeah, I miss IRC, too. It had a lot more of a community feel than the soulless replacements. Everything is splintered now between steam, bnet, origin, discord, epic, whatsapp etc.

I miss #junta so much. I wish the IRC had remained throughout the years. It's one social media application that has continued beyond all the ICQs and AIMs.

I was really saddened to hear of Epoch. Kab also was hard news to take, but he passed long before iirc. I hope the rest of 404 is still alive and well. Much love to you all.

Yea we kinda figured since he didn't turn up in covid that somethin bad had happened.. sad he was so hard to track down. Took me awhile to sort it and get ahold of someone who knew him. We didn't know his last name! "Hey do you know Mike?" :(
