I am in the process of reviving 187, personally!

However, I seem to have formatted my pc too soon and left out a few maps from my backups. I am looking for inparticularly maps that 187 members created (such as afghancave or blackhawkdown).

Hey all,

Well to say the least... I am back home. I have my old computer (and how outdated is it now) and I have been slowly been getting back to a few games. I'm a little older now so to say that I will be gaming as much as I have before would be a lie but I still like to play.

When looking at CSS I found a list of servers of which none had any semi-good custom maps. I mean, what does a guy have to do to play on a kick-ass server these days. I think the answer is to make your own server!

And so, I am asking to you guys (whoever of you still are signing into steam) to see what you all think. One small contemplation that I had is the question between CSS and CSGO. Of course, I still have all the maps that everyone loves for CSS so it would be nearly the same as the server of old. But the alternative is to go to CSGO and start with the new.

One thing that I know is that CS was strong in the original version for about a decade so I have no problem with dealing with the newer versions overpowering the old school ones. Also, the maps will take some time to become customized for CSGO, which is really what appeals to me. 187 is about variety of things and not the same old thing.

So to you, the former/current member (depending on which way you look at it) of 187, would you want if you had the power of choice? As I have done in the past, I leave it up to you.

Okay! we are upgrading to a faster server tomorrow, tonight we will be backing up our data and files. tomorrow we will migrate to our new home. I will have to change our url to reflect the new ip but you will still be able to reach it via css.187clan.net this server is literally 5 times faster than our old one, and is guaranteed to maintain that speed regardless. It is about 4x the cost of our previous server, please conisder donating to the cause it would be greatly appriciated. It has taken alot of money and time to bring 187 back please make extensive use of our servers :) and make it worth our while.
